Charley's story is a remarkable journey of resilience and hope. Diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer that had metastasized to his bones, his initial prognosis was grim. Despite the overwhelming diagnosis, Charley found strength in his faith and community, which provided him with immense support and a sense of peace. Over the years, his treatment journey included hormone therapy, and eventually, he received the incredible news that his cancer had significantly regressed, leaving only one spot that was treated with radiation. Recently, he received confirmation that all visible metastasized cancer had disappeared from his bones. This extraordinary outcome underscores the power of community, faith, and perseverance. Charley DeSchiffart is retired from the high tech world where he spent a majority of his career helping others involved in the support world.  He's now retired, enjoying life with his wife, children and 8 grandkids.  He still loves to help people by walking alongside them whenever the opportunity arises, just listening to their stories and what is going on in their lives.  He is refreshed by nature, and loves camping in the outdoors.
